The genographic project
Starting from a long debating myth 'where we come from', the project helps humans today reconstruct ancient migration stories though a scientific way of their DNA analysis. The scientist decodes the genetic information found in the molecules of participant's DNA, then a participant can spot their lineage on the map of the ancestry journey. Of course, I thought finding a most close relative from the map might be somewhat interesting to every participant.
ItsRedAgainIt was Starbucks' holiday campaign in 2006. In this web-based campaign, users are encouraged to share their own story of their favorite tradition and link to a map of collecting all traditions around the world. The interesting part is not only providing a high-quality greeting card for user to customise their own card through a voice-to-text system or recording via microphone but also acting out the best tradition story each week.
Some projects introduced by Michael Greer on the 'Beyond the Desktop' class might inspire in ideals or a possible platform to Memory Trace project.
